American enterprise Waymo has declared that its self-driving vehicles will be on offer for use on London's thoroughfares beginning next year.

London Becomes Pioneering European City for Self-Driving Ride-Hailing.

London will emerge as the inaugural European city to host an driverless taxi service, comparable with those already operational in San Francisco and several American cities employing Waymo's advanced technology.

Waymo stated that its cars are presently traveling to London and will begin navigating on the city's roads in the coming weeks with trained human specialists supervising the vehicles.

Waymo launched its self-driving taxis in 2020 and now states it has served more than 10 million customers in the US.
